Clessidra 15

From the ancient art practiced by the Master Distillers Pisoni comes
this precious grappa, fruit of years of experience and of patient waiting.
Produced in limited quantities using the ‘Tullio Zadra’ method to distill
vintage pomaces in copper stills, it is then aged for over 15 years in
medium toasted French oak barriques. Such long ageing gives the grappa
a deep amber colour with golden nuances and rich and intense aromas
of spices, dried fruits, pepper, cinnamon and tobacco. To the palate it is
distinct, dry and with a pleasant vanilla finish.

Alcohol content: 50% vol.

Format: 0.70 L

Bottles per carton: 3 0.70 L bottles, individually boxed

We visited Pisoni without an appointment and were greeted very warmly. Alongside an excellent wine tasting we were treated to a very tasty and plentiful sausage and cheese snack.
